Althea F. (Nettell) Immonen

Althea ( Maggie)  Faye (Nettell) Immonen passed away Monday July 16, 2018 at St Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI due to complications of heart surgery.  Althea was born April 22, 1949 in Houghton, MI to Lester “T-bo” and Marion (Cassibo) Nettell. She spent her entire childhood in Houghton and moved to Wisconsin to raise her 5 children and 2 step children.  She resided in Oshkosh, WI for the last 15 years and worked tirelessly in home health care.  She enjoyed her family, grandchildren, friendships, crafting, volunteering, and giving back to her community.

She is survived by her children Mark (Kim) Nettell, Chippewa Falls, WI; Randy (Nancy) Nettell Denver, CO; Tonya (Scott) Eagan, Wautoma, WI; Michael (Jeni) Keranen, Oshkosh, WI; Scott (Carrie) Immonen, Wautoma, WI; Stepsons Robert (Lisa) Immonen, Oak Creek, WI; and Randy Immonen Milwaukee, WI. She is further survived by her  brother Lester “Butch” (Pegg) Nettell, many grandchildren which she adored, nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her late husband Robert V. Immonen, her father Lester Nettell and her mother, Marion Nettell.

Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 10:00 .m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army in Oshkosh.
