Alva E. Gear,
age 92, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully, Wednesday afternoon, September 4, 2019 at Wild Rose Manor.
He was born August 29, 1927 in Waushara County, the son of Carrol and Elizabeth (Barten) Gear. He married Gladys B. Erickson on October 2, 1946, they were married for 72 years.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys B. Gear of Plainfield; he is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
