Amy L. Ostrander

Amy L. Ostrander, age 85, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away January 5, 2017 at Attrium of Wisconsin Rapids. She was born September 25, 1931 in the town of Oasis, the daughter of Lewis and Ethel (Sherman) Leavitt. She married Delbert Ostrander on June 21, 1952 in Hancock. Amy enjoyed listening to country music, watching birds, sewing and mending. She was an avid Hodag country music fan, who loved camping, dancing the waltz and two-step. But most of all her love was her family. You could always find her attending events that her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren where in. She is survived by husband, Delbert Ostrander, Wisconsin Rapids; her daughters, Carol Oastrander, Jo Knipple, Diane (David) Nowak, Pat (Bill) Turner; her grandchildren, Dave (Bobbi Jo) and Devin (Jami) Nowak, Corey and Aden (Jamie) Knipple, Ashley(Rick) Grunden; her great grandchildren, Rayvn , China, Maddox, Taylor Knipple, Kayleigh Waite, Cayden Revak, Journy, Alicia, Kristen, Payton Nowak, Stacy Grunden; further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Lewis, Miles, Robert and Norman; her sisters, Lillian Mayer, Athel Jane, Erma Hutkowski; one daughter, Sharlene; grandson, Scott Knipple; a great grandson, Tevor Grunden. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 12 noon in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services at the funeral home. The Stahl Funeral Home is assisting the family arrangements.
