Aric William Kerschner, age 31, of Coloma, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, July 10, 2024 as a result of a motorcycle accident in the town of Coloma.
He was born on October 3rd, 1992 in Stevens Point to Matthew and Jacqueline Kerschner.
Aric was a 2011 graduate of Wautoma High School where he loved and excelled at football. He continued his education at UW Stevens Point and UW La Crosse. After college, he began his working career at the family business, Kerschner’s Gas Service, INC. He took pride in working alongside his father, family, and community. Aric had a heart of gold. He was the most kindhearted person and was always willing to help anyone in need. Nobody was a stranger to Aric. He had an adventurous side where he could be found hunting, fishing, camping and enjoying the outdoors. He had strong faith and is now walking in Jesus's embrace.
He is survived by his parents, Matthew and Jacqueline Kerschner, Coloma; his sister, Marissa (James) DuCharme, Franklin; his niece Guinevere "Winnie" DuCharme whom Aric absolutely adored; his grandparents, Monica Kerschner, Teddy Otto, and Phyllis Stanke; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Myron "Mike" Kerschner, Norbert Stanke, and Judithe Otto; and his uncle, Mitchell Kerschner.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 17th from 4pm to 7pm at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Coloma. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 18th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma. Visitation will start at 9:30 am. Funeral service will begin at 11am. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery, Coloma, immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Aric’s name.
