Arlene May (Leach) Challoner

Arlene M. Challoner, age 83, of Plainfield, formerly of Coloma, passed away peacefully, Saturday May 14, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.  She was born November 22, 1938 in rural Hancock, the daughter of Harrison and Cornelia (Williams) Leach.  She married Sofus F. Challoner on February 2, 1957 in Hancock. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2009.

Arlene was a very hard worker who took great pride in the every thing she did.  She was employed as a local farm laborer, driving potato truck during harvest and dedicating time whenever needed.

She is survived by her siblings; brother Don (Rose) of Beloit, brother Allen of Wisconsin Rapids, sister Alice Holden (Eldon) of Nekoosa, sister Edith Schruck of Wautoma, brother Dennis of  Wisconsin Rapids, and sister, Sharon Buckholt of Plainfield.

Arlene will be laid to rest in the Hancock Cemetery.
