Arlene Stephens

Arlene Virginia Stephens, age 68 of Wautoma, died unexpectedly on January 4, 2015 at Crystal River Nursing Home. She was born on July 8, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Fred and Catherine (Kopshever) Klotter. On November 2, 1968, Arlene married James L. Stephens in Chicago, IL. She worked at Georgia OKeeffe Middle School in Madison as a Secretary for several years. Arlene loved spending time with her grandchildren, dogs, gardening and watching old movies.
Arlene is survived by her husband: James Stephens, Wautoma; children: Catherine (James) Mulvey, Wautoma, Jason (Ana) Stephens, Madison; grandchildren: Owen Mulvey, Evelyn, Brady and Samantha Stephens; mother: Catherine Klotter, Chicago; a brother and sister; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her infant son: Eric Stephens; father: Fred Klotter and a brother: Glen Klotter.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 10AM until 12PM at Leikness Funeral Home. Burial will take place at a later date in Wautoma Union Cemetery. www.wautomafuneralhome.com
