Betty Diane Lipke , age 88, of Plainfield, WI left this earth to be with her heavenly father on August 7, 2024.

Her cancer journey started in 2018 and thinking it was beat, but came back 4-1/2 years later. With all her children being with her throughout her journey, her time passed at the residence of her daughter Deb and husband Dan in Minnesota with the help of Mayo Clinic In-home Hospice care.

Born September 29, 1935 in Elcho, WI, a daughter to the late Ben and Margaret Bouvat. The family moved and lived in Wild Rose, WI. During her years of growing up she participated and enjoyed ice skating with the Wild Rose Skating Club. She also tried to get her children to enjoy her love of the sport as much as she did, but her children came close with roller skating. Along with ice skating, she worked at A&W in Wautoma and also at the Wild Rose Hospital.

Shortly after graduating from Wild Rose High School, she met the Love of her life Doliver Lipke and were married in November of 1954. They were blessed with 8 children and also adopted their special needs grandson Jamie. Betty dedicated her life to her family and loved each and every one, making sure they were all taken care of and helped them as needed. She had her hands full taking care of 9 children with 6 of them being boys and 3 girls.

Going to West Holden Church on Sundays and participating in church activities; along with being a farm family; instilled a good strong foundation and work ethic to help her children succeed in life. They raised their children with a firm hand to make sure we were ready to face the world with faith, integrity, common sense and a devotion to family. Always there with a helping hand for us when we skipped a beat. After a fire on the farm, Doliver and Betty started Doliver Lipke Trucking/Lipke Trucking and together they ran a successful business; Betty dispatching, keeping records and answering phones, while Doliver was on the road and running the business from his truck. Mom kept the household running and Dad called every night during the week to talk to each and every one of us to say good night, and to make sure we were behaving.

She is survived by her children: Terry (Laurie) Lipke of Hancock, WI; Deb (Dan) Luedtke of Northwood, IA; Patty Jome of Appleton, WI; Doliver II of Oshkosh, WI; Heath (Tracee) Lipke of Wautoma, WI; Tony Lipke of Plainfield, WI; Sara Lambert of Northwood, IA; and her sister Mary Apps. She was blessed with 20 grandchildren, 35 plus 1 on the way great-grandchildren and 3 plus 1 on the way great- great grandchildren. Along with numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Preceded in death was her husband Doliver, son Gary, daughter-in-law Michelle, grandson Tanner; parents Ben and Margaret Bouvat; sisters Jean McKnight and Elaine Martin.
