Beverly A. Daye

Beverly Ann “Bev” Daye, age 72 of Wautoma passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at her home.  She was born on January 5, 1950 in Berlin, the daughter of Wilber and Alice (Bray) Daye.

Beverly was a graduate of Wautoma High School.  She worked as a Social Worker for the Waushara County Department of Health and Human Services for 35 years.  She devoted her life to taking care of those she loved.  Beverly loved gardening, canning, cooking, baking, sewing, spending time at the dog park with Leo, and finding treasures at garage sales.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents and her brother James “Jimmy” Daye.  She is survived by her beloved daughter, Sara (Renato) Bargaehr, Wild Rose, and her   faithful four-legged companion, Leo.  She is further survived by her special friends, Julie Dehmlow, Audrey Koch, Sue Prindiville, Bob Lillard, Frank Klenko, and her many friends who were like family to her at the dog park.

Bev made friends everywhere she went.  She was kind, funny, smart, generous, and loyal.  She made the world a better place by being in it and she will be deeply missed by everyone lucky enough to know her.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Crossroad Family Church, 640 South Water Street, Wautoma. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services at the church. Bev will be laid to rest in the North Dakota Cemetery, Town of Dakota, Waushara County, Wisconsin.
