Catherine spent most of her life in Wisconsin, with the last 30 years working alongside her husband Jim at Owen-Rock Cranberry Marsh in Hancock, WI. She was the essence of a well-rounded homemaker. Catherine canned all sorts of fruits and vegetables, making pickles and jams among all sorts of delicious treats. A gifted seamstress, she excelled and took great pride in quilt-making. Her children and other family members will be kept warm not only by memories of her love and generosity, but by the beautiful quilts they have received from her talented hands. Catherine served on the Tri-County School Board and was a Tri-County School District representative to CESA 5 Board of Control. She was honored and humbled to be a guardian of two World War II veterans on their Honor Flight trip to Washington, DC in 2012.
