Charles J. Slovinski, age 86, of Wautoma, passed away, Saturday morning, February 11, 2023 at Rosemore Village in Wild Rose.
He was born April 13, 1936 the son of Clifford and Leona (Kehl) Slovinski. He married Judi Dixon on October 27, 1984 at Mount Morris Holden Lutheran Church.
Charles served his country in the United States Army from 1956-1957 when he was honorably discharged. He was employed for many years at Paine Lumber Company, Green Giant and Ripon Pickle Company. Charles was a handyman that was talented in woodworking creating many treasured bird houses and bird feeders for family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed bird watching, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and dogs. Charles was a member of the Wild Rose American Legion Post 370.
Charles is survived by his wife, Judi Slovinski, Wild Rose; his children, Becky (Roger) White, Bud (Dawn) Slovinski and Keith (Cindi) Slovinski; his grandchildren, Christopher White and Dustin (Jacqui) White; great grandchildren; Isaiah Faust, Landen White, Liam Slovinski, Bradley Check and Ana Lambert; great-great grandchild, Lexus Faust.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Mary Ann Parsons, granddaughter, Aiva Slovinski and great grandson, Cameron Slovinski.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stahl Celebration & Remembrance Center, Wautoma with full military honors to follow. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
