Charles "Chuck" P. Mrkvicka, Jr.

Charles “Chuck” Mrkvicka, Jr. age, 86, of Plainfield, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Stevens Point Health Services where he had been residing.  He was born November 6, 1936 in Racine the son of Charles Sr. and Elizabeth (Novotny) Mrkvicka.  He was employed as an irrigation technician for several years.  Chuck proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1960-1962. He is survived by one brother, Joe Mrkvicka, 3 nephews and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and 2 nephews.  Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield with full military honors to follow.  He will be laid to rest in the St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery, Plainfield.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
