Cheryl Ellen (Erb) Camp

Cheryl Ellen Erb Camp passed away at the Memorial Hospital in Wild Rose on May 2, 2016. Born in Berwyn, IL on Jan. 18, 1948, Cheryl was the only child of Edwin and Helen (Koska) Erb.
Cheryl had a beautiful soprano singing voice and was very active as a choir member and volunteer in several churches. She worked at Marshall Field’s in Chicago and as a church secretary.
Cheryl married Victor Raymond Camp on Sept. 25, 1968. Michael Jason Camp, their son, was born on March 30, 1971. They lived in Mokena, IL 32 years.
Cheryl was an exceptionally good cook and loved parties, especially with German food and music. Fortunately for Cheryl and her family, they had a fun-filled reunion the weekend before she died.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her son and many relatives and friends who cherish their memories of Cheryl’s great sense of humor and sweet disposition.
The family thanks the staff of the Wild Rose Hospital, where Cheryl became an organ donor.
