Cheryl Stratton

Cheryl Luanne Stratton, age 67, of Wautoma, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Milwaukee. She was born November 11, 1946 in Portage, the daughter of Edward and Evelyn (Ulrich) Buchholz. She married Charles R. “Chuck” Stratton on July 26, 1975 in Wautoma. Cheryl was a graduate of Westfield High School. She was employed as a caregiver in Home Healthcare. She loved her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. Cheryl loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and bird watching. She is survived by her husband, Charles R. “Chuck” Stratton, Wautoma; two children, Matthew (Heather) Stratton, Union Grove, Danielle (Jason) McHugh, Pine River; three grandchildren, Rylie and Ryder Stratton, and Gwenyth McHugh; one brother, John (Kathy) Buchholz and their children, Jeff and Janet, California; a sister-in-law, Joanne Buchholz and her son, Russell, Stoughton. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by one brother, Edward Buchholz Jr. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma. A Memorial is being established.
