Cory R. Caves

Cory R. Caves, age 46, of Plainfield, passed away Christmas morning with his family at his side after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born February 5, 1974 the son of Randall and Deborah Caves. He married Arika L. Kelley on November 11, 2017 in Plainfield.
Cory was a 1992 graduate of Tri-County High School in Plainfield where he enjoyed sports and hanging with his friends. He was employed at Esquire Muffler in Wisconsin Rapids until his illness. He enjoyed shooting pool, wood burning, fishing and hunting. He had many passions in his life, but family was the most important.
He is survived by his wife, Arika L. Caves, Plainfield; his loving children, Nina, Alexander, Marcus, Talia, Jessica and Isaiah; his grandchildren, Aubrey and Elliott; his parents, Randall and Deborah Caves; his sister, Jodi Caves and niece, Kaleigh Cayce; his grandmother, Mary Caves; his mother-in-law, Cathy Bongert and brother-in-law, Kyle Kelley; Further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Earl Caves, maternal grandparents, Ralph and Margaret Wing; aunts and uncles, Richard and Joyce Baxter, Neal Olson, Ray Gear and cousin Neil Baxter.
Private Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2020 in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial will be in the Plainfield Cemetery.
