Dale H. Wedde, age 68, of Wautoma, passed away early Sunday morning November 7, 2021 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born April 19, 1953, the son of Wilbert and Marie (Ninneman) Wedde. On June 1, 1974 in Wautoma he married Janice Brownell and they enjoyed 47 years of marriage.
Dale attended Wautoma High School, class of 1971. Dale will be fondly remembered for his genuine smile, kind heart and love for family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. In his earlier years he enjoyed playing softball, working at Campbell Tree and Land, Nelson Muffler, SHARA Labs, JJ Seamless Floors, SpeedQueen and most recently, Farago Plumbing and substitute custodian for Wautoma Area School District.
Dale will be greatly missed by his wife, Janice Wedde of Wautoma; his two loving daughters, Mamee (Dr. Christopher) Laufer and Annie (Jeff) Brewer; his grandchildren, Jade, Keon, Zion, Mia, Elayna, Landon and Rayne; step grandchildren, Ben, Dane and Claire; brother, Eugene (Michelle) Wedde; and his special canine companion, Lily; stepfather, Donald Weyenerg and stepmother, Adeline Wedde; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 11am-1pm in the Stahl Celebration and Remembrance Center, Wautoma. A luncheon will be held at Grimm's One More and I Gotta Go Sports Bar following the Celebration Gathering. The family would like to Thank Aurora Medical Center staff in the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center, ICU, 2North and Hospice Care for there care, support and empathy.
