Biography

Dave J. "Squirrell" King, age 54, of rural Almond, passed away Monday morning, January 5, 2015 at his home after a short battle with cancer.
He was born September 27, 1960 in Wild Rose the son of Donald and Dorothy (Lemke) King. He married Cheryl L. Johnson on January 16, 1993 in Almond.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl L. King, Almond; his children, Michael D. King, Almond, Mollie Richter, Rosholt and Alicia King, Stevens Point; three grandchildren, Brett and Anna Richter and Olivia Sawall; one brother, Dennis (Margaret) King, Amherst; his canine companion, Kozmo; further survived by nieces, a nephew, other relatives and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Donn King and Douglas "Humpy" King.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. Thursday until the time of services. The Leikness & Stahl Home is assisting the family with arrangements, www.plainfieldfuneralhome.com
