David K. Cole, age 67, of Plainfield, passed away Friday evening, August 14, 2020 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born March 10, 1953 in Tennessee. He married Pauline M. Flaig on August 13, 1977.
David drove truck for 46 years as an owner/operator and also drove truck for Roehl Transportation Company for many years. He served his country in the United States Army and Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline M. Cole, Plainfield; his loving children, Sherrie Cole, Michael (Jamie) Cole, Matthew Cole and Crystal Cole; 8 grandchildren; his parents, Eula (LeRoy) Sickels and Arlie Cole; his siblings, Lloyd (Rebecca) Cole, Marlena (Steve) Condiff, Jim (Lisa) Cole and Deana Maxwell; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Plainfield Veterans Park, 316 S Woodward Ave, Plainfield from 1:00 p.m. and a military honors tribute at 2:30 p.m.
