Delores C (Warner) Zdroik

Delores C. Zdroik, age 93, of Hancock, passed away peacefully, November 16, 2020 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.

She was born June 12, 1927 in Stevens Point the daughter of Claude and Gladys Warner.  She married Jerome J. Zdroik on June 18, 1945. He preceded her in death in June of 1996.

Delores was a graduate of PJ Jacobs High School in Stevens Point.  She has resided in Hancock and Plaifield for the past 30 plus years.  After graduation she moved to Milwaukee where she worked for the City of Milwaukee as a librarian. After retirement she moved back to the Plainfield area where she enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling with her son Larry, making crafts, attending Sunday church services at the Hancock United Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children, Terryl (Darlyn) Zdroik, the late Larry (Vicki) Zdroik, Leigh Burdey and Robin McGeary; her beloved 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; her siblings, the late Boyd (Sue) Werner, Douglas (Sandy) Warner and Joan Holcomb.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, son Larry, her grandson, Ryan and a brother Boyd.

Private family graveside services will be held on Monday at the Restlawn Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.  In lieu of flowers memorials to the Hancock United Church of Christ are appreciated.  Stahl Funeral Services are assisting the family with arrangements, www.stahlfuneralhome.com
