Biography
Diane Lehman, age 64, of Wautoma, passed away early Monday morning, October 4, 2010 at her residence. She was born April 20, 1946 at Wild Rose, the daughter of Leonard and Beatrice (Heller) Simenson. She married Bruce A. Lehman on Dec. 2, 1967 at Mount Morris. He preceded her in death on August 7, 1999. Diane farmed in the Town of Wautoma for many years. She was employed at Especially For You, the A& W Restaurant, and Copps as Assistant Dairy Manager and Assistant Produce Manager. She also worked at Nelson Muffler and Ace Hardware, both of Wautoma. Diane operated L&H Critter Company and Goat Dairy at her farm.
She was a member of the 4-H, Wisconsin Donkey and Mule Society and the
Wisconsin Dairy Goat Association. Survivors include one daughter, Sheree (Sylvester) Huck, Wautoma; one son, Troy "Ed" (Kerri) Lehman, Wautoma; her mother, Beatrice Simenson, Wautoma; one grandson, Gabriel Huck; one granddaughter, Natalie "Bean" Lehman; one sister, Joan Sheets; one brother, Garold (Luanne) Simenson. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father, and by one grandson, Sylvester Leonard Huck. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Pilgrim Baptist Church in Wautoma with Rev. Doug Monroe officiating. Inurnment will be at Wild Rose Union Cemetery, Town of Wautoma. Relatives and friends may greet the family at the Church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
