Donald L. Vroman, age 69, of Wautoma, died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.
He was born March 7, 1941 in Wild Rose, the son of Irene Vroman. He married Sandra Mallison on May 4, 1963 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Plainfield.
Mr. Vroman served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Wautoma Chapter 51 Disabled American Veterans. Donald was employed at the former Waushara Electric Cooperative now Adams Columbia Electric from 1963 until his retirement in 2003. Don enjoyed hunting, traveling and camping. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Vroman, Wautoma; his son, Gary (Kathy) Vroman, Neshkoro; a daughter, Donna (Kevin) Pederson, Westfield; three grandchildren, Gary Lee (Tracey) Vroman, Tiffany Vroman and Tyler (fiancee' Tara) Vroman; a great grandson, Jackson Vroman; his mother-in-law, Norma Mallison, Waupaca; one brother, Richard (Carol) Vroman, Wisconsin Rapids; seven brothers-in-law and 11 sisters-in-law; further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jeffrey A. Vroman; two brothers, James and George Vroman, his father-in-law, Raymond Mallison, brothers-in-law, Donald Mallison, Donald Nickoli and Robert Cauley, a niece, Lisa Kalata and step grandson, Cody Pederson.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. Wednesday until the time of services. Burial will be in the Wautoma Union Cemetery.
