Donna F. (Marshall) Jeffery

Donna F. Jeffery, age 64, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully, June 14, 2017 at her home.

She was born on November 7, 1952 in Berlin, the daughter of Russell and Charlotte (Ellis) Marshall, fourth child of seven.  Donna attended 8 years of school at Hancock grade school and 4 years at Tri-County High School, Plainfield graduating in 1970.  In her younger years she worked on vegetable farms and was a nanny for a very nice family during High School years.  Later during roller skating at the good ole Lo-Nor Rink and Skelly Truck Stop she met Andy Jeffery, loved the way he waltzed and his red 69 Mustang, very sharp!  July 3, 1971 they were married at the United Church of Christ, Reverend Jerry Rott officiated.  During her marriage she had a son Michael James and upon his high school graduation, Mike was in the Navy for 20 years. He has 2 children, Christofer and Taylor.  Mike retired from the Navy and now lives and works in Washington State. Donna had a beautiful daughter, Kerry Lynn and after High School she worked many years at Smurfit-Stone and on her own raised 2 children, Haley and Wyatt. She remodeled her house on her own.  After several years she has met her soul mate Derek Freeman and will be married on June 17, 2017.

Donna is survived by her husband of 45 years, Andy, who did everything together, going to auctions, refinishing furniture, taking and teaching kids to skate, salmon fishing, lots of camping, horseshoes, bowling, car shows, trips together and riding pink mopeds.

With sisters, Judy and Karen they did a sister’s day, which included walks, picnics and trying out several places for  a nice dinner or lunch.

Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who loved her very much and will miss her dearly.  She always had a big hug for everyone.  She was the biggest Elvis fan out there.  If you knew her well, you knew she had anything and everything of Elvis possible.

She is further survived by her son Michael and her daughter Kerry; her grandchildren, Haley and Wyatt Alexander and Christopher and Taylor Jeffery; her parents, Russell and Charlotte Marshall; her siblings, Judy Ward, Darrell (Judith) Marshall, Karen Neal and Lloyd Marshall; she is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Donna was preceded in death by Robert Ward, Jen Marshall, Archie Neal, Jim and Catherine Jeffery and grandma Ellis.

To Honor Donna’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.  A graveside service for all will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Plainfield Cemetery.  The Stahl Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements, www.stahlfuneralhome.com
