Duane E. Sherman

Duane E. Sherman, age 68, of Plover, formerly of Plainfield, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday morning, July 20, 2017 at his home.
He was born March 6, 1949 in Wauwatosa, the son of Raleigh and Hildegard (Biederwolf) Sherman.
Duane was a 1969 graduate of Tri-County High School. After graduation he served his country in the United States Army. Duane was currently employed at Walmart in Stevens Point. He was an avid collector of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter memorabilia. He was an herbalist and enjoyed making teas and herbal remedies for friends and family. You could often find him at Starbucks enjoying a cup of coffee with his good friend Gene.
Duane is survived by his brothers and sisters, Marie (John) Romppainen, New Berlin, Donald (Lana) Sherman, Nekoosa, Roger Sherman, Plainfield, Joanne (Richard) Detlor, Plainfield, Kathleen (Steve) Bartsch, Hancock; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
