Edward W. Lange, age 82 passed away peacefully at his home, on March 20, 2014. Edward was born on Sept. 28, 1931, in Packwaukee, WI, the son of Walter Edwin Lange and Emma Augusta (Slife) Lange. He married Marilyn Delores Daye on June 22, 1963 at Zion United Methodist Church of Neshkoro. Edward worked at Speed Queen for 34 years until the time of his retirement. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, farming, gardening, Nascar Racing, listening to Polka Music and spending time with his grandchildren, his family and friends.
Edward is survived by his loving wife: Marilyn Lange, Westfield; three children: Edgar Lange, Westfield; Julian Lange, Westfield, Hope (James) Spillner, Windsor; five grandchildren: Christopher Lange (fiancé© Kayla Burke), Boscobel, Courtney Spillner, Milwaukee, Ariel Spillner, Windsor, Michelle (Brian) King, Westfield, Jackie (Craig) Oetken, Nekoosa; six great-grandchildren; three sisters: Doris (Arlie) Marquardt, Westfield, Caroline (Ervin) Breise, Green Lake and Katherine (Henry) Rivera, Brandon, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Walter Edwin Lange and Emma Augusta (Slife) Lange; sister: Elnora and brother-in-law: Harold Juhnke.
Memorial services will be held at 11AM on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Aaron Alfred. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.
