Elaine Joey (Weekly) Patterson

Elaine J. “Joey” Patterson of Wautoma went to be with the Lord on January 24, 2017 surrounded by the love and support of her family at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

She was born in Minneapolis, MN., along with her twin brother Tom on January 21, 1946.  She is the daughter of Roy and Elaine Hartwick Weekly.  She married Robert Patterson on September 9, 1978 sharing a beautiful 38 years of life together.

Joey graduated from Tri County High School in Plainfield, WI in 1964.  She later attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point were she received her degree in education.  She was a loved 1st grade teacher for the majority of her 25 year career where she touched the lives of countless children with many of those relationships lasting to this day

Joey had many passions that gave her great joy in her life.  She was an avid fan of sports loving her Packers, Badgers, Hornets and Wildcats.  Joey shared her love of photography with others by taking countless pictures and providing lasting memories for many.  She loved golfing with her husband and friends and shared that love with many of her grandchildren.  She has been blessed with incredible friends with whom she has shared countless great memories.  Anyone who knew Joey knew that her greatest joy in life was making others happy and supporting all those she loved.

Joey is survived by her loving husband Robert; loved children Colleen (Joey) Dopp of Wild Rose, Jennifer (Keith) Erickson, of Wild Rose, Bill (Micki Miller) Patterson of Plainfield, Bob (Kelly Vroman) Patterson, Jr. of Plainfield; cherished grandchildren: Kelton (Morgan), Konlan and Kaiden Dopp, Nick, Bryce, Carissa, and Austin Erickson, Amber, (Brad) Gardner, Greg, Andy, Preston Patterson; adored brothers, twin Tom (Diane) Weekly, Plainfield, Steve (Cheryll) Weekly, Wautoma; nephews, Eric (Kelly) Weekly, Jason (Jennifer) Weekly, Collin (Kaitlyn) Weekly; great-nieces Gabriel, Isabella, Briar, Kylee and Karson.

Joey is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Elaine Hartwick Weekly.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Waushara Community Church, Wautoma with the Rev. R. Alan Spitler officiating.  Family and friends may greet the family from 10:00am until the time of the services at the church.
