Eleanor Mae Phillips, age 80, of Plainfield, passed away Tuesday evening, September 30, 2014 at the Wild Rose Manor.
She was born March 14, 1934 in Saratoga, WI., the daughter of Martin and Myrtle (Westover) Czlapinski. She married Roger Phillips in Arlington Heights, Illinois on October 10, 1953, he preceded her in death. She gave birth to six children while living in Illinois then later moved to Wisconsin in 1979 to finish raising them. She was a very loving person, the kind of person that would give you the shirt off her back if you asked for it. She provided day care in her home for many years.
She is survived by her six children; Roger (Marilyn) Phillips, Trina (Donald) Wilson, Gary (Marsha) Phillips, Lu (Alvin) Wilson, Tresa (Mike) Ludtke and Carl (Jenny) Phillips; 14 grandchildren, Dawn (Dan) Kemnetz, Kathy (Jerry) Knutson, Michele (Chad) Keenlance, Richard (Jennifer) Phillips, Kelly (Nic) Buchner, Jonathan (Erin) Wilson, David (Kim) Phillips, Karla (Brian) Ludtke, Kevin Phillips, Corey Ludtke, Leah Phillips, Spencer Phillips, Kayla Phillips and Gracie Wilson; 16 great grandchildren, Chase, Lindsay, Elizabeth, Myka, Shawn, Dawson, Jayden, Preston, Tearra, Shelby, Kayden, Emmrie, Skylar, Brooklyn, Serenity and Jase; four brothers, George (Jean) Czlapinski, Larry (Shirley) Czlapinski, Fred (Linda) Czlapinski and Phil (Carol) Czlapinski.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roger, of 53 years; her parents and two brothers.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Inurnment will be in the Plainfield Cemetery.
