Esther Minskey

Biography

Esther T. Minskey, age 102, of Wautoma, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, April 24, 2011, at Silver Lake Manor in Wautoma.
Esther Wiora was born August 29, 1908 in Portage County, the daughter
of Frank and Martha (Majewski) Wiora. She married Leo R. Minskey on January 18, 1938 and together they owned and operated businesses in the area where they belonged to St. Joseph Catholic Church and Waushara Country Club. She was a member of St. Joseph's CCW, Woman's Club and
Waushara/Wautoma Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Timm, Wautoma, and numerous
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on July 28, 1981; two sisters,
Cecilia Walotka and Gertrude Morgan;; two brothers, Paul and Henry Wiora
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at
11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma with Rev. Robert L. Stegmann officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until
the time of services. The Leikness Funeral Home of Wautoma is assisting the family with arrangements
