Gary Robert Dehling

Gary R. Dehling, age 66, of Coloma, passed away unexpectedly, Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2020 at his home.

He was born October 19, 1954 in Berlin, the son of Robert and Ruth (Klabunde) Dehling. In 1979, he married Deborah Steuck, with whom he raised two children Christopher and Kristina.

Gary was a very hardworking man that always put others before himself and had the biggest heart of gold.  Gary owned and operated Dehling Construction with his father for 60 years.  They had 35 years of service plowing snow for the township of Coloma. Always making sure the roads were clear for his community to get through.  When he was not working, Gary was actively involved in his families lives. He enjoyed spending quality time with his wife Deborah, his children and grandchildren, family and friends. His amazing personality, smile and contagious laugh will be missed by many.  He always had to be the jokester.

Gary will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 41 years, Deborah Dehling of Coloma; his children, Christopher Dehling of Coloma, Kristina (Mike Otto) Dehling of Coloma; his grandchildren, Brooke DeBord, Treyten Roos, Adelyn Dehling, Maycee Bloss and Aspen Dehling-Otto; his parents, Robert and Ruth Dehling, Wautoma; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father-in-law and mother-in-law and many other relatives.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Stahl Celebration and Remembrance Center, W7452 State Road 21/73, Wautoma.  Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Prince of Peace Cemetery, Coloma.
