Gladys I. Kulas Stevens, age 76, of rural Almond, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at her home.
She was born March 27, 1939 in Adams County, the daughter of Harvey and Olivia (Evans) Payne. She married Edward Kulas, they later divorced. She then married Edwin Stevens who preceded her in death.
Gladys was a very devoted and caring person who enjoyed working closely with others. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and working in the garden.
She is survived by her children, Mark (special friend, Dottie) Kulas, Wisconsin Rapids, Debra (special friend, Mel Schmidt) Kulas, Stevens Point, Jean Kopstein, Stevens Point, Christine Kulas, Wild Rose; her grandchildren, Brandon, Steven, OJ, Kimberly, Katie and Cody; her sister, Beverly (Myron) Williams, Marshfield; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 12:00 noon in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. Monday until the time of services. Online condolences may be sent at www.plainfieldfuneralhome.com
