HANCOCK – Harold “Bud” Arza Sullivan, age 92, of Hancock, passed away Tuesday evening, January 24, 2017at his home in Hancock.

He was born March 7, 1924 at Edgar, WI, the son of Leonard and Frena (Palmer) Sullivan.  He married Edna Sullivan on October 1, 1966 in Hancock. She preceded him in death on September 18, 1997.

Harold served his country in the United States Army during World War II from 1943 – 1946 as an Aviation Engineer building airplane runways.  He was co-owner/operator of Ransom School Bus Service in Hancock with his wife Edna.  His entire life he has bought, sold, and fixed a variety of cars, trucks, and tractors.  You name it and he has probably had it at one time or another.  His passion of “wheeling and dealing” continued to his last days.

Survivors include two children, Robert (Joan) Sullivan, Hancock, Mike (Diane) Sullivan, Madison; son-in-law, Gregg Hillyer, Wisconsin Rapids; six grandchildren, David (Janet) Hillyer, Fort Wayne, IN, Matthew (Andrea) Hillyer, Doylestown, OH, Lisa (Toby) Sullivan, Oshkosh, Lenny Sullivan, Oshkosh, Bobbie Jo (Josh) Sullivan, Appleton, Collin Sullivan, Madison; Six great grandchildren, Jonathan Hillyer, Madyn and Garrett Hillyer, Kiana Spanbauer, Brittni Schoenstene, and Jessica Sullivan and one great great grandchild, Jace Sullivan; and special friends, the Danny Cotrone Family.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Arnie Sullivan, one sister, Ione Buchanan, and one daughter, Patricia Hillyer.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Burial will be at Hancock Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon Sunday until the time of services at the funeral home.
