Biography

Jacob C. Reill-Wendt, age 42, of Mount Morris, formerly of Plainfield, died Friday, January 1, 2010, as the result of a snowmobile accident in the Town of Mount Morris. He was born February 21, 1967 in Milwaukee, the son of Carl and Linda(Reill) Wendt. Jacob worked in the concrete construction trade. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by one daughter, Kristie Weiss, Hancock; his parents, Carl and Linda Wendt, Plainfield; three aunts, Jacqueline Harlan, Illinois, Tamara (James) Locke, West Allis, Janice Reill, Milwaukee. He is further survived by cousins, other relatives and friends. Jacob was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jacob and Lois Reill; paternal grandmother, Edna Wendt; one uncle, Jake Reill; one aunt, Yvonne Root. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield with the Rev. Eric L. Hambrock officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
