James T. Alverson, age 75, of Plainfield, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday morning, May 28, 2023.
He was born November 14, 1947 in Berlin, the son of Carl and Marie (Corrbett) Alverson. He married Diane Smith on November 6, 1971 in Almond. She preceded him in death on October 23, 2010.
James enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, watching birds, gardening and farming alongside his wife. He was employed at Cardinal Glass of Portage for many years until his retirement.
He is survived by his siblings, Valerie Mata, Diane (Bill) Fabich and Dawn (Robert) Lucas; further survived by several very special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Diane and brother-in-law, Joe Mata.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Almond. Jim will be laid to rest next to his wife in the Oasis Cemetery, Town of Oasisi, Waushara County, Wisconsin.
