James Carollo

James L. Carollo, age 69, of Milwaukee, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Clement J. Zablocki V.A. Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born February 24, 1944 in Berlin, the son of Albino “Leo” and Merle (Olson) Carollo. He married Genevieve Karwatka on May 9, 1987 in Milwaukee. James was a member of Mt. Morris Holden Lutheran Church. A veteran of the United States Army. He served in Vietnam from 1968 until 1970. He retired as an Appraiser and Realtor for Genesis Realty of Milwaukee. He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Carollo, Milwaukee; two sisters, Lois (Terry) Wohlfeil and Jane (Dale) Koechell, both of Wautoma; nephews, Ellsworth (Sue) Townsend, Florida, Jerry (Connie) Townsend, Wausaukee, Danny (Debbie) Koechell, Oshkosh, Doug Koechell, Oshkosh, and Becky
Koechell, Oshkosh; niece, Debbie (Dean) Netzer, Abrams. James was preceded in death by his parents, and by his nephew, Darren Koechell. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Morris Holden Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Brinkman officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
