Jimmy Uteg Sr

Jimmy H. Uteg Sr., age73, of Bancroft, passed away Friday evening, November 14, 2014.
He was born April 18, 1941 in Illinois, the son of Herbert and Justine (Marvin) Uteg. He married Karen Byrd, she preceded him in death. He later married Kathleen Pynakker on June 8, 2002.
Mr. Uteg served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Harness Club and the Wisconsin Rapids American Legion Post 442.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Uteg; his son, Jimmy (Shannan) Uteg Jr.; Stepchildren, Racheal (Harry) Mugridge, Carol (Brian) Pliska, Hank (Deb) Mugridge, Lee (Denise) Mugridge, Kim (Jim) Walston; his grandchildren, Jimmy III, Krystal, Travis, Michaela, Briena, Brandon, Nicole and Kaitlyn; one great grandchild; three sisters, Joan Lucas, Dorothy Horacek, Corine Japczyk; further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald Uteg Sr.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. Monday until the time of services.
