John Jack Joswiak Jr. 79 Plainfield WI died unexpectedly Friday, March 06, 2015 at his home.
Jack was born October 23, 1935 to Magdalen and John Joswiak Sr. in Weyerhauser WI. Jack graduated from Ladysmith High School in 1953. After telegrapher training Jack began his life-long career with the Milwaukee Road Railroad.
On August 3, 1957 he married Rosemary Wolf at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Bloomer, WI. In 1958 he was drafted in the U.S. Army, Jack proudly served at the Panama Canal. After discharge he resumed his career with the Milwaukee Road, eventually becoming the night operator at the Duplainville Tower. Jack also worked part-time in the mailroom at the Waukesha Freeman Newspaper and Abels Apple Orchard. Jack had an ear for all types of music especially polkas. He enjoyed entertaining their family and friend by hosting get togethers and playing the accordion and piano.
He is survived by two sons, Jerome (Susan) Joswiak of Eau Claire WI, David (Diane) Joswiak of Bloomer WI. Two daughters, Jennifer Joswiak of Montello WI, and Ramona Joswiak of Florida. One sister, Donna Winters. Five Grandchildren Josh (Kendra) Joswiak, Amanda (Ryan) Sampson, Jeremiah (Cori) Merschoff, Heather (Brandon) Fusek, and Sarah (Dmitriy) Gumenna. Seven Great Grandchildren; Tenley and Eva Joswiak, Madalyn Sampson, Jackson and Ava Merschoff, and Jaden and Braxden Fusek
He was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary, his parents and one brother Bob.
A Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 12th at 11:00 at the Leikness and Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield WI.
