Joseph James Siegel, age 62, of Wautoma, passed away Wednesday morning December 4, 2024 at home surrounded by family holding his hands after a quick battle with pneumonia.
He was born December 8, 1961 and became the beloved adopted son of the late John and Sonia Siegel. He graduated from Wautoma High School in 1980. He married the love of his life, Susan Rovney on October 4, 1986.
He had many careers over the years, most recently as a Grocery Store worker for StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly of Wautoma and he operated his own website designer business called Waushara Media.
His greatest hobbies and enjoyments included fishing and Jesus Christ. He loved to go fishing, raising and breeding fish. He also loved lighthouses and seagulls. He loved Christ with all his heart and served the Lord in many capacities at Trinity Lutheran Church and on the Lutheran Laymen’s League in WI.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Siegel; two children, Jonah (Chastin) Siegel and Sara Siegel; his sister, Desiree (Shawn) Reetz and brother, John (Regina) Siegel; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Trintiy Lutheran Church, Wautoma with visitation from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the church.
