Joyce L. Franks, age 85 of rural Bancroft, passed away Wednesday morning, November 23, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Hancock, Michigan.
She was born April 16, 1931 in Spiritland, Wisconsin the daughter of Rolland D. and Mary (Skibbie) King. She married Roland Franks on March 18, 1950.
She is survived by her husband, Roland Franks, Bancroft; three children, Dennis (Susan) Franks, Bancroft, Bradley (special friend, Tammy Adyniec) Franks, Bancroft, Julie (Mike) Palek, Hancock, MI.; six grandsons, Forrest (Amy) Franks, Bradley Franks Jr., Jordan Franks, Tony (Shaelyn) Palek, Steve (Kristy Pierson) Palek, David (Jess) Palek; Six great-granddaughters; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial will be in the Plainfield Cemetery.
