Larraine (Evans) Barrington

Lorraine Barrington, passed away peacefully, August 18, 2022 at her home in Almond surrounded by her family.

She was born May 6, 1941 in Bancroft, the daughter of Ray and Dorothy Schwanke Evans. She married Allen Barrington on May 23, 1964. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2013.

Larraine spent most of her days embroidering, baking, watching old country movies and gardening. She loved to watch hummingbirds and go to rummage sales with her friends.  Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandkids always laughing and finding the silver lining in life. Lorraine was the most giving women, always willing to help when needed. She will be eternally loved and missed earthside.

She is survived by her sons, Dean (Jeanne) Barrington, Mike (Chris) Barrington; her grandchildren, Michael and Devin Barrington, Racheal and Albert Juarez, Alicia Barrington; five great grandchildren, her sister, Blanche and brother, Gerald (Connie) Evans; further survived by nieces, nephews, many close friends and neighbors.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Lorretta, Doloris, Louise and Arlene and her brothers, Raymond and LeRoy.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
