Laurina "Rena" Poters, 71, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully Monday,
June 20, 2016 at her home. She was born September 22, 1944, in Melrose
Park, Ill, the daughter of Armando and Evelyn Testa.

She is survived by her husband, David M. Poters, Sr.; their six
children, James (Marylou) Carlan, Barbara (Dan) Donath, David (Candace)
Poters, Geni (Jason) Bump, Josette (Travis) Peppers and Crystal (Mike)
Goman; 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; her brother, Harry
Testa; sisters, Patsy Trickie and Jackie Testa; and further survived by
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Shirley Cook and
Joanne Haynes; son-in-law George Ruiz and brother-in-law Harold Trickie.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 25th from 1:00-3:00 pm at
Isaish 58 Ministries, 120 West North Street (Hwy 73), Plainfield.
Everyone is welcome to come to Waterman's Park, 314 S. Main Street,
Plainfield from 3:00-5:00pm for a meal.

A special thanks to her favorite "nurse", her husband David. The Stahl
funeral home of Plainfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
