Louise E. (Grigoliunas) Barnes

Louise E. Barnes, age 71, of Hancock, passed away Saturday morning, February 11, 2017 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.

She was born August 27, 1945 in Lohrville, the daughter of John and Mae Grigoliunas.  She married Harry P. Barnes on November 14, 1970.

Louise and her husband enjoyed making and attending craft fairs.  She and her husband also enjoyed attending and supporting local events and family reunions.  Louise’s greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Harry P. Barnes, Hancock; her children, Tina (Steve) Ziaya, Hancock, Brian (Melissa) Barnes, Hewitt, Michael (Meghan) Barnes, Wisconsin Rapids; her loving grandchildren, Taylor, Travis, Skylar, Kimberlee, Reid, Noah and Mitch; her brother, John Grigoliunas, Hancock; her sister, Catherine (Bill) Fandrey, Hancock; further survived by nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law other relatives and many special friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Gail.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Burial will be in the Hancock Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and from 11:30 a.m. Friday until the time of services at the funeral home.
