Biography
Margaret Barbara (Nampel) Zuelke, formerly of Neshkoro, died peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, October 18, 2010, at Season of Life Hospice in Woodruff. She was born March 1, 1921 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Frank and Barbara (Frueh) Zimmerman. She married Herbert Nampel in 1941in Milwaukee. They moved to Hartland in 1957. Herb died in 1982 and she married Chester Zuelke in 1990 after retiring from the US Postal Service with 13 years of service and moving to Neshkoro. Chester died in 2002. Marge was an avid golfer, Lioness, square dancer and friend to many. She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member at Waushara Country Club, St. James Catholic Church, Neshkoro Lioness, Great Granny's golf league and the Ladies Wednesday golf. She is survived by her sons, Gary (Sue) Nampel, Watertown, and Tom (Juliane) Nampel, St. Germain; her daughter, Peggy (Ozzie) Ausloos, Nekoosa; stepdaughters, Judy (Terry) Hand, Princeton, Karen (Don) Derocher, Kenosha; grandchildren, Scott (Michelle) Nampel, Jill Hiller, Stephanie Nampel, Janene (Jack) Christman, Steven (Michelle) Nampel, Karen (Ken) McCarey, Melissa (Rick) Christian, Jay Ausloos, Timothy (Kalisa) Nampel, Kelly (Bill) Sosinsky, Cheri (Rob) Larsen; seven step- grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren, and her loyal four-legged companion, Shadow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.at St. James Catholic Church in Neshkoro with Father Dale Grubba officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to your favorite charity.
