Marilyn L. (Fedran) Carpenter

Marilyn Carpenter, age 80, of Wautoma, passed away peacefully Monday morning, November 4, 2024 with her daughters by her side.

She was born on May 30, 1944 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Stanley and Lucy Fedran.   On September 7, 1966 she married Terry Carpenter. During Terry’s Naval career they relocated to Rhode Island for a short time. They then settled back in Wautoma on the Carpenter homestead to raise their family.  Marilyn worked at the Jude Memorial Nursing Home, Silvercryst, Hope Lutheran Church and was an avid homemaker.

Marilyn will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  She was a very special person with a kind soul, that was always willing to help anyone.  For many years, Marilyn served as treasurer and bowled on a league at Dogger’s Lanes in Wautoma.  She enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, listening to Elvis Presley, bird watching, and her trips to the casino.  Marilyn always looked forward to the family trips to Canada and the fish fries that followed.  Time spent with her family was the time Marilyn cherished the most.

She is survived by the lights of her life, her daughters, Brenda (Craig) Ramczyk, Wautoma, Lisa (Joe) Niebauer, Greenville, Teena (Chad) Krause, Almond, Heather (Rob) Lichtenberg, Minocqua; her grandchildren, Chyan (Tori), Cierra, Cole, Evan, Henry, Owen, and brother Mick Fedran.   Marilyn is also survived by her best friend of 65 plus years and partner in crime, Sharyn Eilbes.  She is proceeded in death by her parents Stanley and Lucy Fedran, in-laws Lawrence and Arlene Carpenter, brothers Dennis and Jan Fedran, and husband Terry Carpenter of 55 years.

A special thank you to the staff at Rosemore Assisted Living of Wild Rose, Edenbrook of Oshkosh, Compassus Hospice Care and Stahl Funeral Home.  The family sincerely thanks everyone for the love and care they provided to our mother thoughout her journey.

To honor Marilyn’s wishes a private Celebration of Life will be held.
