Marion K. Lauer, age 96, of Almond, passed away Saturday afternoon, November 14, 2020 at Heartland House, CBRF in Wautoma.
She was born June 17, 1924 in Almond the daughter of William and Bridget (Barrett) Hetzel. She married Bernard J. Lauer on August 22, 1942 in Almond. He preceded her in death on September 2, 2014.
Mrs. Lauer was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was an active member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Plainfield.
She is survived by her children, Patrick (Mary) Lauer, Kathleen (Paul) Paddock, Mary (John) Kapraun, Wayne (Cathleen) Lauer, Dennis (Carol) Lauer, Michael (Paula) Lauer; 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; she is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; grandchildren, Eugene and Lisa and great grandson Colyn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Andrew Kurz officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
