Melva Bernice Keyser, age 91, of Wautoma, formerly of Arena, then Portage Wi, passed away February 22nd, 2025. She was born June 2nd, 1933; in Wyoming Valley, Wisconsin to Amanda (Peterson) and Gordon Pete. She was united in marriage to Clayton H. Keyser on October , 1952 Melva was preceeded in death by her sons Daniel and Joseph, 9 brothers and sisters, Violet, Stanley, Burdette, Robert, Lemon, Juanita, Darlene, Rosella, and infant twin brother Melvin. She is survived by her sons, Scott, (Sue) of Tomah, WI, Perry, (Jill) of St. Germain, WI, Robert, (Ann) of Waupun, WI and her daughter, Tamara of Coloma, WI. She was also blessed by 11 Grandchildren, and too many great and great-great Grandchildren to count, along with several great-great-great Geandchildren Melva held many roles during her 91 years. She was first and foremost a loving wife and Mother. She held various positions throughout her life including a proof-reader at Madison Newspapers, retiring from Graber Window Fashions, and owned and ran a bar with her sister. In her later years, Melva also worked at Portage Schools as a lunch server, Heritage House in Portage, preparing meals for the elderly, and worked at Walmart her last 2 years of employment. Melva enjoyed card parties, cooking homemade meals, caring for her friends and family and looked forward to her casino trips. The family would like to thank Heartland House in Wautoma for the wonderful care, yet autonomy given our Mother for the last 2 years and Thedacare Hospice.

To honor Melva's wishes, there will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held this summer.
