Ophelia Rose Schattschneider-Samaniego passed away peacefully on December 20, 2014. Ophelia was born on November 22, 2014 in Madison. During her short time on earth, she touched many lives and was loved by her family. Ophelia is the daughter of Tomas Samaniego and Savanah Schattschneider. She is further survived by her maternal grandmother: Doreen Schattschneider; paternal grandparents: Antonio Samaniego and Mary Lou Castro; paternal great grandparents: Ricardo and Frances Castro; uncles: Chris Feldmann, Ricardo Castro and Adrian Samaniego. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather: Gordon Schattschneider and paternal great grandmother: Elena Deleon Samaniego.
Funeral services will be held at 7PM on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Kevin Bishop. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 5PM until the time of service at 7PM.
