Paul Wesley Bailey

Paul Wesley Bailey, age 65, of Sapphire, NC passed away suddenly on Friday, December 18, 2015 in Plainfield, WI. Paul was born on February 2, 1950 in Burlington, NC. He graduated from Almond, WI High School. Paul received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from The University of Wisconsin – Stout. He also had a degree in business administration.  Paul served proudly in the US Navy in the Mediterranean aboard the U.S.S. Sylvania and was honorably discharged in 1978.

Paul was an interior/exterior painter.  He was a real perfectionist. He enjoyed living in the mountains and around the waterfalls.  He enjoyed hiking, birds, rock and mineral collecting, stamp collecting, and of course, watching the Green Bay Packers.

Paul is survived by his sister Amanda (Lyle) Gear, Niece Heidi (Rodney) Olsen, Nephew John (Kristen) Binkley, and one grandnephew, Derek Olsen. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lula (Kivett) Bailey, two sisters, Billie Sue and Delores, and his brother in law, David Binkley

A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on February 2, 2016 at the Leikness and Stahl Funeral Home, 913 State Highway 73, Plainfield, WI 54966 Phone (715) 335-4300.
