Paul A. Soenksen, Sr.

Paul A. Soenksen, Sr. age 62, of Wautoma, passed away peacefully, Monday afternoon, October 11, 2021 at ThedaCare Hospital in Appleton.
Paul was born October 9, 1959 in Libertyville, Illinois the son of Christian J. Soenksen and Grace (Somner) Mitchell. He married Anne Marie Raffit on November 15, 1980.
Paul grew up in Illinois and moved to Wautoma in 1995 where he began his dream business of woodworking and started Creation Woods. He later opened Sign Creations in 2001 and assisted many local businesses with unique sign designs and billboards. Paul had a strong faith and enjoyed sharing God’s word. He traveled the world on many mission trips evangelizing along the way. Paul was a faithful member of Waushara Community Church in Wautoma.
He is survived by his wife, Anne M. Soenksen; five children, Paul (Tracey) Soenksen, Sandra Chilson, Michael (Amanda) Soenksen, Samantha (special friend, David Stoffregen) Soenksen and Peter Soenksen; his mother, Grace Mitchell; 13 grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.
Paul was preceded in death by his father.
