Raymond R. "Bud" Caves

Raymond R. “Bud” Caves , age 81, of Plainfield, passed away March 21st, 2017 at the Wild Rose Manor.
He was born October 1, 1935 in the township of Plainfield, the son of Raymond J. and Iva Mae (Wood) Caves. He married Dorothy Ann Ladwig on February 23rd, 1957 at the Fairburn Lutheran Church, Berlin.
Raymond farmed in the town of Plainfield for many years and later was employed at the Waushara County Highway Department. Bud was an active member of his community serving on the Tri-County School Board, Plainfield Town Board, Waushara County Board and the WPVGA.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy A. Caves, Plainfield; his children, Kelly (Gordy) Beggs, Nekoosa, Pat (Tim) Wetmore, Wisconsin Rapids, Pam (Dave) Schubert, Wisconsin Rapids, John (Wendy) Caves, Hancock, Peggy (Rich) Dunn, Hancock; 11 loving grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; a cousin, Connie (Nancy) Waterman, Prentice; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 25th, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Send your condolences or share a memory of Bud with his family & friends at stahlfuneralhome.com
