Richard A. Kostuchowski, age 90, of the town of Rome, Adams County, formerly of Chicago, passed away Monday morning, September 21, 2015 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born November 21, 1924 in Stevens Point, the son of Joseph and Eleanor (Paluszkiewicz) Kostuchowski. He married Dolores Musielewicz on August 22, 1953 in Chicago.
Mr. Kostuchowski served his country in the United States Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater.
Richard is survived by his wife, Dolores Kostuchowski; three children, Richard R. (Terry) Kostuchowski, Mt. Prospect, IL., Cheryl Cookie (Patrick) Grande, Plainfield, Joseph (Mary Lynn) Kostuchowski, Chicago; four grandchildren, Ryan, Richard, Corey and Phillip; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Plainfield. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield and from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until procession to Spring Branch Cemetery, Town of Rome, Adams County, Wisconsin.
