Richard J. "Taco" Wilke

Richard J. “Taco” Wilke, age 62, of Bancroft, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday evening, April 5, 2016 at his home.

He was born June 8, 1953 in Chicago, the son of Richard C. and Mary Ann R. (Ringelstein) Wilke.

Taco owned and operated J&R Flooring of Plainfield for many years.  He served his country in the United States Army.  Taco enjoyed tinkering with motors, plowing snow and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving children, Joshua J. Wilke, Plainfield, Jennifer Schaefer, Melissa Boyd, both of Janesville, Colleen Degand, Meadville, PA., Sarah Degand, Surprise, AZ; his loving grandchildren, Tanner, Tayton, Jack, Anna and Joey; his brother, Paul (Terri) Wilke, Corona, CA.; his sisters, Theresa (John) Antman, Vista, CA., Mary (Al) Oregon, Ogden, UT.; his daughter-in-law, Lindsey Weber, Plainfield; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield.  A luncheon will follow at 4:30 p.m. at DJ's Corner Bar.  Burial with full military honors will be in the Plainfield Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon Sunday until the time of services at the funeral home.
