Richard "Rich" R. Vines

Richard R. “Rich” Vines, age 57, of Plainfield, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024 at his home with his family at his side.

He was born June 19, 1967 in California, the son of William C. Vines and Linda G. Klingell.  He married Theresa L. Marfil on October 29, 1988 in Fairfield, CA.

Richard enjoyed the outdoors camping, jet skiing and 4-wheeling.  He was employed at Brakebush in Westfield from 2008-2020.  His career spanned over 30 years as an over the road truck driver. In 2018 he received the 1 Million Mile Safety Award.

Richard will be sadly missed by his wife, Theresa Vines, Plainfield; his children, Carrie (Ben) Jenson, Jonathan (Mike) Vines, Carissa (Brian) Vetter; grandchildren, Bailynn, Coltyn, Levi, Aaron, Brian, Mabel, Joshua, Peter and Elijah Richard; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 12 noon in the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. Friday until the time of services. A meal will follow the services at the Plainfield Community Center, 114 W Clark St. Plainfield.
